Energy Fitness is a boutique fitness studio, operating by appointment only, offering Semi-Private 30-minute Personal Training, Nutrition Coaching, and Massage Therapy Services. Over the past 22+ years, we’ve had some amazing assistants, and we’re confident that we will find more great staff members. Is that you? Our Mission: To inspire optimal health and wellness through empowerment, education, coaching, and training in a safe and non-intimidating atmosphere. We have evolved to include more mindfulness and whole-body self-alignment.

We plan to hire 1-3 personal trainers as needed, with trainers covering morning, evening, and possibly lunch slots. As we grow, we’ll also need Saturday trainers when requested. For the administrative position, we’ll work together to determine the best schedule, with some days focused on projects alongside me and others dedicated to various tasks. We train clients both onsite and via Zoom, so you’ll also support our virtual clients' goals.

About Me & My Company:

My name is Tonya Tittle, and I run Energy Fitness. I hold a Master’s degree in Exercise Science, a B.S. in Physical Education/Wellness Leadership, and I am a Licensed Massage Therapist with numerous certifications to ensure our trainers are the best coaches for our clients. We were located in Memphis, Tennessee, from 2002-2021, and after a two-year construction delay, we opened in South Carolina on August 23, 2023.

Energy Fitness is a private, appointment-only fitness training studio in a 2,000-square-foot facility. We focus on both fitness and nutrition, and we are dedicated to helping women and men achieve their health and fitness goals. We’ve helped over 3,000 clients get healthier and fit since 2002, and we celebrated our 22nd anniversary, June 2024.

Hours:

You’ll need to be available on Tuesdays & Thursdays or Wednesdays and Thursdays.  We can possibly discuss other days that might be mutually beneficial. There will be sometimes (not often) in which you will be asked to be available for an expo or special event (which is not very often but necessary for marketing). There will be a 30-day trial period. Our best and happiest team members often have this position alongside other part-time work. We’re willing to accommodate childcare pickup/drop-off hours.

Tasks You’ll Be Expected to Perform:

  • Demonstrate Energy Fitness core values as a health and fitness-minded company.
  • Answer the door for prospects or massage clients without the door code, greet clients/prospects, and return phone calls & texts using the provided phone script. (We don’t get many walk-ins as we are in a free-standing building.)
  • Use Wellness Living software for client check-ins, selling items in the pro-shop, and answering client questions about their packages, billing info, or scheduling needs.
  • Ensure trainers have an ample supply of printed workout protocol cards, client intake paperwork, and other office supplies.
  • Perform fitness consultations as needed (primarily handled by myself or trainers).
  • Follow up on fitness assessments by pairing and printing posture grid pictures, then adding them to client files.
  • Assist with marketing tasks, including writing weekly blog posts, social media posts, website administration, planning events, email blasts, capturing client video testimonials, taking action photos, creating flyers, and more.
  • Handle weekly or daily housekeeping duties such as cleaning bathrooms, floors, wiping down surfaces, laundry, stocking supplies, emptying trash, and keeping the desk area tidy and organized.
  • Carry out manager agendas.

  • People skills & personality - friendly demeanor goes a long way in giving our clients good customer service - a friendly smile is a must!
  • Thoughtfulness and organization in handling tasks like writing good notes when you qualify a prospect or need to leave a message for Tonya or one of the staff members

Bonus Skills:

  • Previous experience in office management/admin skills
  • Interest in becoming a personal trainer (past admins have transitioned to trainers)
  • Photography and video skills
  • Canva.com experience
